Remembrance, Basic Decency and Respect

Capitol Police Chief makes statement about Fox New disinformation campaign.

Context:

He repeated the phrase for emphasis: “I am your retribution.”

For what? What have we ordinary Americans who hate boastful sexual abusers like Trump ever done to any of them?

We didn't throw down our flag for wannabe tyrant's rag.

I saw this happen live.

The majority of US never called for civil war.

Even multiple Republican CHRISTIANS blithely used rhetoric that threatened US with civil war. I saw that, too.

But abuse was mainstreamed GOP politics under Trump.

And they are not even sorry, let alone repentant.

My statement today:

I do not forgive Republicans for what they did to our country. But I don't want anyone dead. They did.

I stand with the Capitol Police, and Trump voters and tacit supporters need to leave US the hell alone. We do not deserve their narcissistic abuse for just living our lives.

I respect the dignity it took to refuse to shake those disingenuous, amoral fools' hands.
