About Melody Kay Young

Introducing A Creative Cross-Cultural Communicator

Melody Kay Young is a creative communicator specializing in French and German teaching. Having grown up as an American in England on the border with Wales, she lived until 2022 near a well-known border in San Antonio, Texas.

An avid reader and life-long learner, with a passion for creativity and cultural awareness, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in European Studies, French and German (Politics and Culture), followed by her Post Graduate Certificate of Education, both at the University of Bath (England).

In May 2020, she completed her Master of Strategic Communication at American University (Online), with her thesis on social media trolling as an effective, though ethically dubious, persuasive tool.

Melody reads, watches and listens widely in French, German and her native English; she enjoys writing and intends to keep learning more languages. She is an experienced teacher and the author of two independently published books.

Melody continues to write and teach.
