Ashamed to be an American

There is no uniting with maga. There is no reconciliation possible with family who minimize maga threats. Today all hope of healing together has died. These narcissists are not sorry, they do not care the danger they have put many lives in, not even when those lives are their own family. They mocked US for legitimate experiences and concerns, and there is no coming back now. They own this. They voted for an abusive crook who will populate his government with rapists and abusers of the most vulnerable poor. They have lost all sensitivity, and they are blinded by their lust for power and control, and in so being, they have lost forever loved ones they claimed to hold so dear. I do not forgive them. I will not be reconciled to them. I can never trust them again. They wanted civil war, so they do not deserve my civility. They cannot be trusted with lives. They accuse good Americans of virtue-signaling, while gaslighting us about how they value life. There is no coming back from what they have done to our country. There is no forgiveness for unrepentant abuse.
