Grief Upon Grief Again

"‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4

"Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy." James 4:9

"Jesus wept." John 11:35

We remember over a million lost in America alone, many due to an uncaring tyrant, who led by gaslighting abuse and mockery of reason, instead of being an example of sacrificial love.

We lament the evil of white supremacy in our country today.

From yesterday's attempted attack on the Pride park party in ID:

"They’re not even trying to hide their support for genocide and fascism. The guy on the left in the checkered shirt was just being super racist and said that fascism is good and that it’s fine queer and trans people are here because they’ll all be dead soon."

If Trump gets away with murder, the ongoing threats indicate Americans will be at risk from something comparable to the Rwandan genocide or the Bosnian war.

We cry out for justice.

From Psalm 37:

27 Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. 28 For the Lord loves justice and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish. 29 The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.
